An exclusive group of Frankfurt food, wine and lifestyle editors and journalists gathered at Schram's Cooking School during the first week of August and sampled delicious recipes from some of New Zealand's finest celebrity chefs including Peter Gordon, Al Brown, Robert Oliver, Annabel Langbein and Charles Royal.
New Zealand wines from The Ned, Palliser Estate and Yealands were matched to each dish.
The event was presided over and coordinated by the Frankfurt Book Fair's Gourmet Gallery coordinator Martin Schmidt.
The Gourmet Gallery features cookbooks, celebrity chefs at work and is a place where people can sample all kinds of specialty foods and hear about the latest trends in the food world. All the New Zealand chefs featured at the Taste event will star in events at the Gourmet Gallery this year.
The journalists and editiors who attended represented media including Business Traveller, Der Feinschmecker, Slowfood Magazin, PRINZ, ZAGAT, Toristik aktuel, Top Magazin Frankfurt, Frankfurter Rundschau and HR Kultur among others.
